Bulk baby’s breath flowers (gypsophila) are a timeless essential for florists, event designers, and DIY customers seeking volume, softness, and flexibility. Known for their cloud-like appearance and fine branching stems, baby’s breath works beautifully as a filler or as a stand-alone flower for a clean, minimalist look.

Commonly used in weddings, centerpieces, arches, bouquets, and installations, gypsophila complements both classic and modern floral styles. Its neutral white tone pairs effortlessly with roses, ranunculus, eucalyptus, and seasonal flowers, making it one of the most versatile bulk flowers available.

These bulk baby’s breath flowers arrive farm-fresh and unprocessed, allowing full control over hydration, trimming, and preparation. As with all bulk flowers, standard conditioning is required before use. Natural variation in bloom size and openness should be expected.

Ideal for large-scale projects, events, and DIY floral work, baby’s breath offers excellent coverage and value while maintaining an elegant, refined finish. Whether used to soften arrangements or to create full monochromatic designs, gypsophila remains a trusted choice for professional and home floristry alike.

 Care & Preparation

-Unpack right away. Remove the baby’s breath from the box as soon as it arrives. Proper airflow is essential for opening.

-Remove all tight packaging. Many farms ship baby’s breath wrapped very tightly. Carefully remove all sleeves, paper, or cardboard wraps.

-Loosen the bunches (important step).Place the baby’s breath into a large, clear sleeve if available. Turn the bunch upside down and gently twist and shake in your hands to loosen the stems.
If no sleeve is available, simply turn the bunch upside down and gently twist and shake to release compression.

-Separate carefully. While still holding the stems upside down, grab a few stems at a time and gently pull them apart. Do not separate aggressively, as this can break too many branches.

-Trim the stems. Once loosened, cut 1–2 inches off the stems using sharp scissors or a knife.

-Immediately place the baby’s breath into a clean bucket filled with cool to lukewarm water. Add flower food if provided.

-Hydration time: Baby’s breath will begin opening within a few hours and is often ready to use the same day.

-If a more open, airy look is desired, loosely cover the bucket with a clear plastic bag and leave overnight in a cool area.

-Once hydrated and open, baby’s breath is ready for bouquets, centerpieces, installations, and large-scale designs.

-Keep in clean water and change the water every two days. Baby’s breath performs very well simply in water.

-Floral foam (oasis) – optional. Baby’s breath can be used in floral foam if required. If so, insert stems deeply into fully saturated foam and keep foam consistently wet.
