Assorted Mini Carnations

  • Description
  • Care Instructions
  • Conditions

Sold by the bunch, assorted mini carnations are packed in bunches of 10 stems, with a minimum order of 3 bunches (30 stems). They bring cheerful color, texture, and long-lasting performance to floral designs that require fullness and variety. Each stem carries multiple smaller blooms, making mini carnations especially efficient for creating dense, well-balanced arrangements.

Each assortment typically includes three colors, selected from available shades such as red, white, pink, fuchsia, and novelty varieties. Color availability may vary depending on seasonal supply and farm selection.

Mini carnations are valued for their excellent vase life, frilled petals, and durability, making them suitable for bouquets, centerpieces, events, floral workshops, and large-scale installations.

Shipped directly from the farm, mini carnations arrive unprocessed and require standard preparation before use, including trimming stems and removing lower foliage. As with all flowers sold in bulk, natural variations in color mix, shade, bloom size, and stem length may occur.

CARE AND PREPARATION – MINI CARNATIONS
DIY Bulk Flower Guide

To ensure proper hydration, opening, and handling of mini carnations, please follow these steps carefully upon receiving your flowers:

  1. Unpack immediately. Remove the flowers from the box as soon as they arrive. Mini carnations are typically packed in bunches of 10 stems.
  2. Remove outer packaging. Take off all outer packaging and protective wraps.
  3. Remove lower leaves. Strip off any foliage that would sit below the water line to keep the water clean and reduce bacteria.
  4. Handle with care. Mini carnation stems are delicate and can snap at the nodes. When cleaning and handling stems, work gently and avoid bending or applying pressure at the joints.
  5. Prepare clean water. Fill a clean bucket or vase with fresh water. Add floral food and stir until fully dissolved.
  6. Trim the stems correctly. Cut approximately 1–2 inches off the stems using sharp scissors or a knife. Always cut between the nodes, never directly at a node.
  7. Hydrate the flowers. Place stems immediately into water and keep them in a cool area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  8. Allow time to open naturally. Mini carnations may take several days to open, especially if they arrive very tight. Slightly warmer water may help encourage opening.
  9. Do not force the blooms open. Due to their smaller size, mini carnations should not be manually rolled or forced open, as this may damage the flowers.
  10. Daily care. Change the water regularly, remove any spent blooms, and re-cut stems as needed, always cutting between nodes.
