Lilies are long-lasting flowers that open gradually and require proper handling to perform at their best. Please follow these steps carefully upon receiving your flowers:

Unpack immediately. Remove the flowers from the box as soon as they arrive. Lilies are typically shipped in tight bud form.
Remove outer packaging. Take off all outer packaging and protective sleeves.
Remove lower leaves. Strip off any foliage that would sit below the water line to keep the water clean and reduce bacteria.
Prepare clean water. Fill a clean bucket or vase with fresh water. Add floral food and stir until fully dissolved.
Trim the stems. Cut approximately 1–2 inches off the stems at an angle using sharp scissors or a knife.
Hydrate properly. Place stems immediately into water and keep them in a cool area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Allow time to open. Lilies open gradually over several days. If quicker opening is required, slightly warmer room conditions will encourage bloom development.
Remove stamens promptly. Once each lily bloom opens, it is strongly recommended to remove the stamens (pollen pods) immediately. Pollen can easily stain the petals, clothing, and table linens. Gently pull or pinch the stamens out as soon as the flower opens to prevent staining.
Handle pollen carefully. If pollen does fall onto fabric, avoid rubbing it. Allow it to dry and gently lift it away to minimize staining.
Daily care. Change the water regularly, remove spent blooms, and re-cut stems as needed.
