Snapdragons are tall, elegant flowers that require standard preparation and gentle handling due to their softer stems. Please follow these steps carefully upon receiving your flowers:

Unpack immediately. Remove the flowers from the box as soon as they arrive.
Remove outer packaging. Take off all outer packaging and protective sleeves.
Remove lower leaves. Strip off any foliage that would sit below the water line to keep the water clean and reduce bacteria. Snapdragons do not require petal cleaning like roses.
Prepare clean water. Fill a clean bucket or vase with fresh water. Add floral food and stir until fully dissolved.
Trim the stems. Cut approximately 1–2 inches off the stems at an angle using sharp floral shears or a sharp knife.
Hydrate properly. Place stems immediately into water and keep them in a cool area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Handle stems carefully. Snapdragons have long, softer stems that can bend or break if handled roughly. Move and arrange them gently to avoid damaging the stems.
Provide support if necessary. In tall arrangements, especially when stems are weaker due to limited sunlight during growing, it may be helpful to add a bamboo stick or support stake and tie the stem loosely to prevent bending or breaking. This is particularly useful when arrangements will be transported.
