CARE AND PREPARATION – TINTED RAINBOW GYPSOPHILA
DIY Bulk Flower Guide

Tinted rainbow gypsophila is a delicate filler flower that requires standard preparation and gentle handling to maintain its airy texture. Please follow these steps carefully upon receiving your flowers:

  1. Unpack immediately. Remove the flowers from the box as soon as they arrive.
  2. Remove outer packaging. Take off all outer packaging and protective sleeves.
  3. Minimal cleaning required. Gypsophila typically has little to no lower foliage, so minimal cleaning is needed before placing in water.
  4. Gently loosen the bunch. Before placing in water, hold the bouquet upside down and give it a gentle shake, then carefully separate the stems one at a time to allow for better airflow and volume.
  5. Prepare clean water. Fill a clean bucket or vase with fresh water. Add floral food and stir until fully dissolved.
  6. Trim the stems. Cut approximately 1–2 inches off the stems at an angle using sharp floral shears or a sharp knife.
  7. Hydrate properly. Place stems immediately into water and keep them in a cool area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  8. Handle with care. Gypsophila is delicate and should be handled gently to avoid breaking small branches or damaging the tinted blooms.
  9. Daily care. Change the water regularly and re-cut stems as needed to maintain freshness.
