Preparation & Care Instructions for Hydrangeas:

• Unpacking: Unpack flowers immediately and remove protective packaging. Hydrangeas come in small water bags to keep them hydrated. Remove the bag before trimming the stems.
• Initial Hydration: Submerge the cut stems in warm water for about 30 minutes to ensure thorough hydration.
• Trimming Stems: Trim 1-2 inches off the stems at a 45-degree angle, cutting underwater to prevent air bubbles from entering the stems.
• Vase Preparation: Place stems in a clean vase with fresh, cool water and add floral preservative.
• Water Maintenance: Change the water and add new preservative every 2-3 days to keep the flowers fresh.
• Optimal Environment: Keep flowers in a cool location, away from direct sunlight, drafts, and vents.
• Avoid Ripening Fruits: Avoid placing flowers near ripening fruits or vegetables, as the ethylene gas they emit can cause the flowers to wilt prematurely.
• Remove Wilted Petals: Remove any wilted or damaged petals to maintain the appearance and health of the flowers.
• Clean Vase: Use a clean vase with fresh water each time you rearrange the flowers to prevent bacterial growth.
